Candied Lemon Slices

Candied lemons are the perfect snack or garnish for any dessert. They are also perfect to drop into a hot cup of tea.

Ingredients

  • 2 lemons thinly
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
  • 1/4 cup pyure
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

1. Using a V-slicer, slice lemons 1/8 inch in thickness.

2.In a large skillet combine all above ingredients and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the lemons are translucent.

3. Transfer lemon slices to a cooling rack and allow them to dry over night. Store in a mason jar for optimal freshness.
