In a medium bowl mix the first 4 ingredients together, once well combined add in the melted butter. Keep mixing until the crust ‘dough’ comes together.
With the back of a large spoon (or you can use your fingers) press the mixture in the prepared pan.
Bake at 350 for 15 minutes or until lightly golden. Once done set aside to cool.
Cream Cheese Layer Instructions (2nd layer)
Combine the first 3 ingredients in a Kitchen Aid mixer and mix on high for 6-7 minutes or until the cream cheese is perfectly smooth.
Add the heavy cream and mix on high until light and fluffy.
Carefully spread over the crust. Place in the refrigerator while working on layer 3.
Chocolate Cream Layer Instructions (3rd layer)
Combine all ingredients in a Kitchen Aid mixer, slowly start turning the speed up (otherwise your kitchen will be covered in cocoa). Whip until stiff peaks form.
Carefully spread the chocolate cream over the cream cheese layer. Return pan to the refrigerator to set while preparing the final layer.
Whipped Cream Layer Instructions (4th layer)
Combine all ingredients in a Kitchen Aid mixer. Whip until stiff peaks form.
Carefully spread the chocolate cream over the chocolate layer.
To finish the Royal Delight shave a chocolate bar all other the whipped cream layer. Refrigerate for at least an hour or two before serving to give the layers a chance to set completely.
Notes
Sometimes I also dust the top layer with cocoa powder to give it a deeper chocolate taste and look.
