Boil water in a large pot. Once it comes to a boil add salt. Add pasta.
As the pasta starts to cook, stir it well with tongs so the noodles don’t stick to each other.
Drain cooked pasta in a colander, rinse with water (just a few seconds).
Return the pasta do a large pan (this is my favorite pan) add butter if using, turn the heat on to medium high.
Add liquid aminos and stir using your tongs. Cook until the pasta has absorbed all the liquid. You can add more or less depending on how flavorful you want it. 7 tbsp seems to be the sweet spot for my kids.

*For Trim Healthy Mama use Dreamfields pasta and skip the butter to keep an E fuel. Or go ahead and add butter to use the lo mein in an S setting.
